Reserved Domains

No customer will be allowed to acquire a domain that is less than 4 characters. This is intended to assure that government or other significant entities will have a chance of the domain they will need. This may seem unfair, but it is still the case. For example, www.ka is intended to provider for registrar and hosting services for all of Kaldan domains. edu.ka is for the Ministry of Education, and so on. Besides, would you want someone to let’s say acquire gov.ka because it slipped through the fingers of Ka-Tel? Obviously, a person can do a lot of damage by having a gov.ka domain.

With that being said, there are other domains that would be intended to not be allowed and therefore reserved. This is again not only for the security and integrity of the Kaldan domain system, but also because these domains will likely be acquired anyways. Such reserved 4+ character domains are as follows:

  • bank.ka: Kaldan National Bank
  • credit.ka: Credit Line Banks
  • ebook.ka: National eBook Address system
  • foodplus.ka: Food Plus Grocery Stores
  • health.ka: The Ministry of Health
  • laws.ka: Laws of the nation
  • post.ka: Ka-Post (postal service)
