Internet Service

Internet service will include connecting to the Internet and getting online. These days, such is very important for communications and with the push for IPTV, and SIP telephony as standard, then Internet service is even more important. NSC will require Ka-Tel to provide an affordable Internet connectivity plan. One can learn more about the plans by visiting the provider’s website. All rates must be easy to find, and not require filling out a form to see the prices beyond providing a postal code.

The big issue with services will include how to connect to the internet. If DSL is the only option, then a telephone jack will need to be placed in the communications closet, or equivalent. The modem will connect to the line, and offer an RJ45 jack for connecting the router for home internet. This will be the solution until fiber optic runs to the location.

With coaxial and fiber, the fiber line will run from the network operations center to the pole, and in the case of cable internet, a coaxial line will run from the pole to the location. This coaxial connection will be replaced by fiber optic, and in the Optical Network Terminal, they will terminate as RJ45. By doing this, it will allow the subscriber to have the best options for them, and allows for fewer devices that can go wrong.
